Logotype
Our logotype serves as the signature of our brand, appearing consistently across all touch points, from products to print materials. The accompanying shield acts as a decorative element that reinforces our recognisable visual identity.
Intended Use
The BeaconMedaes logotype features the symbol of the blip line in a circular shape, also known as the ‘shield’, on the left-hand side and the BeaconMedaes name to the right, written as one word with capital letters. They should always appear together in this particular order.
The primary color of the logotype is primary blue in positive version, or white on the negative one as showcased in the example below:
The BeaconMedaes logotype should not be modified as in the example below:
Never remove BeaconMedaes shield from the logotype.
Never use any other color for the logotype.
Never stretch or compress the logotype.
Never use any effects on the logotype.
Never use the logotype on busy background.
The old logotype will be phased out and should not be used for new designs.
Free space and restricted area
The BeaconMedaes logotype must be clearly visible, by adding a restricted area, also called free space, around the logotype it becomes easier to identify and it stands out more clearly. Other images, text boxes or graphical elements must not interfere with the free space.
The full restricted area should be used as a primary option on print collaterals and digital applications where possible.
A half-restricted area can be used for website and other digital applications that are narrow in height.
Logotype application on different backgrounds
Always ensure that the appropriate color variant is applied according to the background, examples are provided below. This maintains optimal legibility and brand integrity across all touch points.
The primary use cases of the logotype are:
- Primary blue logotype on white background
- White logotype on primary blue background
- White logotype with primary blue shield and white blip line on dark blue background
On secondary colored or tinted backgrounds, we use the BeaconMedaes logotype with a transparent blip line, so it adapts to the background color.
Black & white logotype
This type of logo is used only as a fall-back option and not as a primary use case. Black logotype should only be used in one-color print applications. The color of the logotype is pure black #000000 in the positive and negative version.
The usage of the BeaconMedaes shield
You may use the BeaconMedaes shield separately only in exceptional cases, when:
- You do not have enough space for the entire logotype
- The logotype would appear too small in its entirety
- You might want to highlight or extract the shield for its promotional purposes

Size and position
The logotype should be placed on the top left, top right or at the bottom left or right of the collateral. Place the logotype in mind with a safety margin of the shield from the edge of the surface. Always place the logotype on the solid background or a plain area of the image.
