Teams Background
Teams backgrounds are an important part of the BeaconMedaes visual identity in digital meetings. Using approved backgrounds ensures a professional, consistent, and branded appearance across all online interactions both internally and externally.
Approved backgrounds
Always use one of the official BeaconMedaes Teams backgrounds provided in the brand toolkit. These include a selection of clean, on-brand options designed to work in various lighting conditions and screen formats.
How to use the backgrounds
The different Teams background templates should already appear in your overview if you go to ‘video effects & settings’ and click ‘see more’ to see all the existing backgrounds. If you don’t see them there, you can follow below approach:
Download background
- Select one of the official BeaconMedaes Teams backgrounds from the brand toolkit.
- Save it to your computer in an easily accessible folder.
Add it in Microsoft Teams
- Open Microsoft Teams and start or join a meeting.
- Before joining, select “Effects and avatars”, go to “video effects”, “more video effects”, and select “Add new”.
- Upload your chosen BeaconMedaes background from your computer.
Select and adjust
- Choose the uploaded background before joining the call.
- Make sure your lighting is even and your face is clearly visible.
- The logo or pattern in the background should remain fully visible and not mirrored.
