Medical Gas Code Requirements

NFPA99 Health Care Facilities Code, for gas and vacuum systems
The NFPA 99 health care facilities code requires that all personnel that are involved in the installation, inspection, verification, maintenance and design of medical gas and vacuum systems be trained and credentialed. The ASSE/IAPMO/ANSI Series 6000 Professional Qualifications Standard for Medical Gas Systems Personnel is widely regarded as the benchmark training guideline to ensure that all personnel involved in the industry are trained and continuing their education to the newest edition of NFPA 99.
