NFPA Automatic Changeover Medical High Pressure by High Pressure Manifold (Lifeline)

Lifeline Automatic Manifold

The Lifeline Automatic Manifold is designed in accordance with NFPA 99 and CSA standards. The design, validated through extensive testing, ensures the manifold maintains its reliability while reducing the leak potential and avoiding wasteful gas losses. The NEMA 4 electrical enclosure and environmental testing provides the ability for outdoor installations. The Lifeline Automatic Manifold is designed to be a superior performer in any medical gas service.

Optimal flow & reliability

The Lifeline Automatic Manifold features dome-biased primary regulators designed to optimize flow without heaters, preventing ice formation and enhancing reliability.

Minimizing leak potential

Using an advanced forging design to reduce leaks by eliminating N.P.T. connections, consolidating regulators and valves, thus enhancing reliability and maintenance.

Durable design

The manifolds undergo extensive testing for endurance, ignition, and flow, ensuring top quality and safety without fluoropolymers in high-pressure headers.

Key Features

The Lifeline Automatic Manifold offers an extensive range of configurations and gas services to cater to both gas cylinder and liquid container applications. These manifolds are designed to deliver pressures of 50 psig, 100 psig, and 180 psig, accommodating a broad spectrum of gas requirements.

Flexible setup options include cylinder-by-cylinder, liquid-by-liquid, and liquid-by-cylinder configurations, ensuring adaptability to various operational needs.

The manifold is available with either standard or TotalAlert Embedded electronics, enhancing operational efficiency and safety. TotalAlert Embedded technology incorporates pressure transducers to monitor pressures in each bank as well as the overall delivery pressure.

An Ethernet connection facilitates remote monitoring, enabling email notifications for alarm conditions and pressure warnings. This system advises on cylinder replacement before critical alarm conditions arise, ensuring uninterrupted gas supply.

The installation of the manifold is streamlined for convenience, involving simple bracket mounting and secure placement of the manifold. It includes a source valve and utilizes specialized unions for gas-tight connections to both system and vent piping. This design principle places a premium on accessibility, making routine service or adjustments straightforward.

The manifold features a user-friendly control unit display, employing color-coded LED indicators for at-a-glance status assessments: "In Use" (green), "Ready" (green), and "Empty" (red) for each cylinder bank, with a yellow LED signaling changeover events. All LEDs are shielded by a protective overlay, complete with a gasketed connection for the electronics, ensuring the display remains weatherproof and easily interpretable.

Tailpipes and Pigtails are crucial components used to connect gas cylinders to the manifold header racks, ensuring a reliable and safe distribution of gases like oxygen, nitrogen, and nitrous oxide. Pigtails are flexible hoses or rigid tubes that connect the gas cylinder's valve to the manifold system. They are made for durability and safety, ease of use and adhering to compliance and standards according to NFPA 99, HTM02-01, HTM2022 and ISO 7396-1.
