BeaconMedaes launches new Zone Valve Box Assembly

BeaconMedaes, part of the Atlas Copco Group, launches new Zone Valve Box designed for ease of sensor installation.

Once again, BeaconMedaes is meeting healthcare facilities’ challenges head on and strengthening our commitment to patient safety. BeaconMedaes’ priority is to partner with healthcare facilities in the fight against infectious disease. The next generation Zone Valve Box assembly strengthens that commitment. Medical gas sensors are now mounted in the assembly, allowing for ease of sensor access and reducing the need to open ceiling tiles potentially releasing dust spores and other bacteria within the facility. The durable polycarbonate window is further enhanced against bacterial growth. The window is treated with InstaCure Guardian, a coating that has been shown to prevent nearly 100 percent of bacterial and mold growth. “With the development of the new multi-language Zone Valve Box, BeaconMedaes continues our pledge to exceptional global design while assisting hospitals with infectious disease control,” said Jonathan Brooks, product manager for BeaconMedaes. The new Zone Valve Box allows for the configuration of up to seven valves within the assembly, reducing installation time. The new design simplifies maintenance and installation. Designed for integration with the new BeaconMedaes TotalAlert Infinity® alarm, the Zone Valve Box allows for the placement of compact sensors with DISS Connections that are packaged with the alarm rough-in box. The zone valve box assembly meets all requirements of NFPA 99, CAN/CSA Z7396.1-09 and AS2896-2011.
