How we care for people and our planet
At BeaconMedaes, we recognize the urgent global challenges of climate change, systemic inequality, and health gaps. To minimize our environmental footprint, we have implemented several initiatives that reinforce our commitment to achieving our Science-based Targets, such as increasing energy efficiency, switching to renewable sources, optimizing logistics, and encouraging sustainable practices among our stakeholders. We believe that by taking care of the planet, we also take care of the people who depend on it.
This commitment reflects not only our dedication to environmental stewardship but also our strategic alignment with the goals outlined in the Paris Agreement. This call to action guides our determination to integrate Science-Based Targets across all aspects of our business, supporting the transition to a low-carbon society. At our company, we pursue this through our Net Zero Commitment and Carbon Reduction Plan.
Our Sustainability Pillars
Driving social value: pioneering a healthier, greener future
We are deeply committed to enhancing the NHS's mission by integrating social values into every aspect of our operations, products, and services. Our dedication extends beyond mere compliance; we strive to lead a future where healthcare delivery and environmental stewardship are seamlessly united in a sustainable vision.
The Turnkey Sustainability Package encapsulates this commitment, offering the NHS a distinctive pathway to achieving its Net-Zero targets. Through our sustainable solutions, we are at the forefront of minimizing the environmental impact. These technologies underscore our commitment to reducing carbon footprints, safeguarding patient health, and ensuring the well-being of the communities we serve.
Our commitment to the science-based targets
BeaconMedaes, part of the Atlas Copco Group, is dedicated to reducing its environmental impact by targeting all three scopes of CO2 emissions. Direct emissions from operations and vehicles (Scope 1), indirect emissions from purchased energy (Scope 2) and from activities like employee commuting and business travel and our products in use (Scope 3), are all areas of focus.
