Centralized Monitoring
Monitor up to three independent gas detectors from a single MGD-R repeater unit. Configured as a part of a Modbus gas detection system, it provides clear real-time status visibility.
Key Features
The CO2 and Hydrogen sensors offer protection for personnel working in close proximity of high-concentration sources of either CO2 or H2 with low / pre-alarm and high alarm relays with clear traffic-light indication of each alarm status.
The optional MGD Repeater can be configured as part of a Modbus controlled gas detection system, incorporating up to three gas detectors. The repeater unit features a single display screen showing the status of up to three individual gas detectors and can power up to three gas detectors.
The flashing beacon allows for an additional audio-visual warning device located outside of the gas storage space to ensure the safety of personnel prior to entering a potentially compromised gas environment and easily connects to the main MGD unit via the “strobe” connection terminal.
Loaded with features and alarming options, the MGD gas monitors include two analog outputs, one additional output for the external flashing beacon, and a Modbus RS484 for connection to the MGD-R (Repeater) unit. Additionally, both the individual MGD’s and the repeater unit can communicate with BeaconMedaes TotalAlert Alarms and building management systems.
